Weedsport Free Library: Partnership Expands eBook Selection | Lifestyles

Samantha Black special for the citizen

Spring is on the horizon! As we look forward to warmer weather and celebrate Women’s History Month in March, there’s plenty to do at the library. The tax forms should arrive any day. We will have state and federal forms with free instructions.

The library hosts a Share the Love food drive throughout February to benefit the Brutus-Sennett Food Pantry. Share the love by dropping off non-perishable food at the library. Canned soups are especially needed right now.

Finger Lakes Library System has partnered with Ontario Wayne Wyoming Livingston and Southern Tier Library Systems to share OverDrive collections. This means that with your Finger Lakes library card, you can now access titles from all three collections on the Libby app. Libby gives you access to thousands of eBooks and eAudiobooks on your Kindle or other device to borrow for free from the library.

Speaking of Libby, do you need help setting up or using the Libby app on your Kindle or other device? We can help you with a personalized tutorial. Time slots are available from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays and from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Call the library at (315) 834-6222 to reserve a timeslot.
